Bruce Maas is the Emeritus Vice Provost for Information Technology and CIO at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a position he held from 2011 to 2017. He has served the University of Wisconsin System in a diversity of roles over a career of more than 39 years including seven years as the CIO at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Bruce also served on the Board of Directors of Unizin and Board of Directors of IMS Global. Bruce holds an MS in administrative leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Bachelor degrees in Accounting and MIS. Bruce is currently serving as a Fellow in the Information School at UW-Madison, as Partnerships Evangelist at IMS Global, and as an advisor for the Wisconsin Cyber Threat Response Alliance, Armored Things, Research Space, and AEFIS. Bruce is also an amateur researcher who is studying Lake Mendota, in Madison when the ice is off.
